The pain and why?

Low back pain is one of the most common conditions and the leading cause of doctor visits. While many cases can be related to injury, accident, or muscle strain, others involve more "structural" issues, including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and degenerative disc disease. Whatever its cause, a Lower back injury can range from mildly embarrassing to downright debilitating. Ironically, the severity of pain is often unrelated to the level of physical damage. In fact, a simple sprain can cause excruciating lower back pain that can make it difficult to walk or even stand, while a large herniated disc or a completely degenerated disc can sometimes be relatively painless.

Neck pain can be caused by a number of things, including a car accident, muscle strain, arthritis, or a "pinched" nerve. While most neck pain tends to resolve with rest, pain medication, and massage, some people experience significant trauma and experience chronic pain that requires more proactive treatment.
